Electronic & Social Media Boundaries
This course focuses on restricting private electronic communications between educators and students and reducing the risk of inappropriate relationships that can result from them.
Educators use technology to communicate with students and their parents about assignments, which is valuable and acceptable. However, interactions should be limited to posts that are visible by other users, including parents and administrators and done using district electronic platforms, never through personal email or personal social media.
Our focus in this video will be on restricting private electronic communications where inappropriate and risky personal relationships can flourish by phone, texts, video and apps including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and more.
This child sexual abuse prevention course is available with the compliance courses to all Fund Vector Solutions school district members.
